The Critical Discourse Analysis of Maudy Ayunda’s Speech at Press Conference on the Introduction of the Government Spokesperson for Indonesia's G20 Presidency

This study aims to describe the transcript of Maudy Ayunda’s speech as a critical discourse analysis taken from video Youtube Chanel Liputan 6. Ayunda is spokesperson for G20 Presidency in Indonesia. The method used by researcher was qualitative descriptive with textual content based on Van Dijk’s design. divided into four parts: macro-structure, superstructure, and microstructure. also examines linguistic aspect. In analyzed thematically. theme about persuading Indonesian people participate making success Then, text three main elements, namely: opening, content, closing. superstructure analyze general meaning providing supporting reasons organized closing discourse. micro-structure analyzes semantically, which refers social persuasive language text.
